The entire nation stands united against terrorism and India will never bow down to forces that seek to spread hatred and fear, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said on Wednesday as he paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the Pahalgam terror attack.

On the first anniversary of the dastardly attack, Gandhi expressed his heartfelt greetings to all the brave hearts who were killed.

“India will never forget their sacrifices and the suffering of their families, and will never forgive the perpetrators of this cowardly act,” the Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha said in a Hindi post.

“The memory of innocent lives who were mercilessly kidnapped continues to shake our hearts to this day,” he said. “The grief of the families of the martyrs is a grief we all share.”

“The martyrdom of these sons of the nation will remain immortalized in the spirit of India forever,” Gandhi said.

He stressed that the entire nation stood united against terrorism and violence, stands united today, and will always remain so.

“India will never bow before the forces that seek to spread hatred and fear, and we will stand against them with greater strength, unity and resolve,” Gandhi said in his post. Jai Hind.

The Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist group had carried out an attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir on this day last year, killing 26 innocent people, most of them tourists from all over India.

After the Pahalgam terror attack, India carried out a retaliatory military attack against Pakistan under the name of Operation Sindoor, in which the Indian armed forces destroyed Pakistan’s military and terror infrastructure and Pakistan occupied Kashmir.
