French-Swiss pastry chef and chocolate sculptor Amaury Guichon has signed with United Talent Agency to represent him.
Besides running his own school in Las Vegas, the Pastry Academy, Guichon has about 23.5 million followers on YouTube, and a total of 96 million on social media platforms, who watch his video content where he creates giant, vibrant pieces of chocolate. Using Willy Wonka’s box of culinary tricks, Guichon created an entire foosball table, dragons, motorcycles and life-sized animals made entirely of chocolate, among other stunning designs.
Known online as The Chocolate Guy, Guichon hosted the Netflix show Chocolate schoolwhere eight dessert professionals competed by making their own chocolates for a cash prize and the chance to teach a master class at his own pastry academy. He also co-hosted Dessert masters In Australia and has appeared as a recurring judge on baking competition shows such as Food Network’s The ultimate baking championship and Super mega cake.
Guichon, whose creations combine classic French culinary mastery with showmanship, has been named the world’s most creative pastry chef by La Liste, the prestigious guide to restaurants, hotels and pastry shops. Having trained as a classic pastry chef in France since the age of 14, he competed in 2013 in the French reality TV series Who will be the next great pastry chef?Guichon joined Jean-Philippe Patisserie, an upscale pastry company in Las Vegas.
In 2016, he began showcasing his chocolate creations on social media through how-to videos, and followed this up by launching his own pastry academy in Las Vegas to train aspiring pastry artists. In 2018, Guichon published a pastry book, flavor art, Featuring distinctive chocolate creations.
