While Jay-Z is currently on his 30th Anniversary Series Tour, one of his recent shows ended with critical acclaim. The rapper was scheduled to perform the final concert of his three-night tour at Yankee Stadium on Sunday, but attendees faced a three-hour delay.

After online discussion about the incident, the singer finally took the stage to perform his setlist and address the delay.

Jay-Z says the concert was delayed due to crowd safety

As soon as the rapper took the stage, he apologized for the delay and explained what happened. He shared: “Let me explain the delay to you guys. It was like 10,000 people outside, we locked all the doors, and someone rushed in the door. They locked the door for your safety and everyone outside.

There are 10,000 people outside. I don’t want to start music and people get run over. I’m really sorry for the inconvenience, but I had to make sure everyone was okay.

I appreciate your patience.”The show started just after 12 a.m. ET, about three hours later than originally scheduled, and ended at about 2:45 a.m. ET.
