Huge sets have already been set up in Hyderabad for the important scenes, and the team is shooting at a fast pace. Now, a new report about the film’s next schedule has reached a dead end.

Reports of a water crisis around the shoot of the film ‘Varanasi’ have gone viral

According to a report from ABP Live, the makers of ‘Varanasi’ have reportedly ordered a large number of water tankers to shoot underwater scenes at a specially constructed location at Gaganpahad near Rajendranagar. The team is said to have requested from the Hyderabad Water Supply and Sewerage Board about 150 water tankers, each with a capacity of 10,000 litres.

However, reports claim that the request was rejected due to the current summer water shortage in Hyderabad.

Reports indicate that officials were unable to divert this huge amount of water for film shoots due to the high public demand for drinking water across the city. Although there is no official confirmation yet, the news quickly spread on the Internet.
