Alia Bhatt recently appeared in the first episode of the second season of India’s Got Latent alongside Sharvari, where the duo promoted their upcoming film Alpha. The episode was a huge success, garnering more than 43 million views on YouTube alone.
Now, behind-the-scenes clips from the show are creating buzz online, with one particular moment featuring Alia attracting fans’ attention.
Alia Bhatt remembers watching Latent on the plane
In a BTS clip from the show, Alia revealed that she watched India’s Got Lant for the first time while on a flight and found herself laughing uncontrollably.Speaking to Samay Raina, the actress said, “By the way, I only watched Latent on my flight. She sent me that episode, which I watched; I was laughing out loud (imitating herself), and I didn’t realize that Raha was sleeping next to me, with my headphones on, which upset everyone.”

In another viral behind-the-scenes clip of the episode, Alia praised Samay’s special Still Alive, calling it “pure art.”Curious about the creative process behind the special, I asked Samay how it was filmed and edited.“So, the special you did in multiple cities around the world, and then you took one version and put it out? So, the version we saw has already been done multiple times?” Alya asked.
For this, Samay revealed that the collection had already been performed around 200 times before the final version was released.
Samay talks about the emotional moments in the special
Alia also wanted to know how Samay handled the emotionally charged parts of his performance. The comedian shared that while most parts of the special were carefully written and thought out, a certain portion was intentionally left untouched.“So what I’ll do is everything else on this special I’ll write and think about.
Except for that one piece. I never wrote this piece or thought about it outside of the theater. “I’m going to do that part on stage and put myself back in that room,” he explained.Samay also revealed that revisiting those memories will make him emotional every time.“I was thinking about that room, just putting myself in that room and it made me cry every time,” he said, adding that he was emotional and cried during every performance in the part.After the overwhelming response to the first episode, India’s Got Latent season 2 has created a huge buzz among the viewers. The show will release new episodes every week simultaneously on Samay Raina’s YouTube channel and Netflix.
