Mardaani 3 Box Office Day 3: Rani Mukerji's film is doing well; Crosses the Rs 17 crore mark

Mardaani 3 is a strong box office hit with Sunday collections taking its three-day total to Rs 17.50 crore. The film saw a significant jump in occupancy, especially in the daytime and evening shows, indicating good audience turnout.

Mardaani 3 is doing well at the box office and the third day numbers are showing good growth. After doing well on the first two days, the film took off even more on Sunday. Reports from the website Sacnilk said that the film collected around INR 7.25 crore nett on Day 3 and this helped the total to rise to INR 17.50 crore.

The first three days look stable

The first day collection was reported to be Rs.4. Day 2 was Rs 6.25 crore and Day 3 preliminary estimates are Rs 7.25 crore. Day 2 already showed a big jump of 56.25% and now Day 3 has added even more weight.

Occupancy rates

On Sunday, the film had a total of 33.29% views in Hindi. Morning shows accounted for 13.23%, afternoon shows – 37.04%, evening shows – 49.80% and night shows – 33.10%. These figures show that people mostly came during the day and evening. The evening shows were the strongest, almost touching 50%, which is a good sign for Day 3.

Cast and crew

Rani Mukherjee, Janki Bodiwala and Mallika Prasad played important roles in the film. It is directed by Abhiraj Meenawala. A lot of people came mainly to see Rani Mukerji as Shivani Shivaji Roy again because she also played this tough cop role well in the previous installments. People who have seen the film have said that the acting is good and holds the film together even when the story slows down in some parts.

Our verdict

The ETimes review shared a clear take on the film. It said, “The first half is exciting and fast paced as Shivani goes after the kidnappers who cheat Amma and then the latter.

The narrative loses some of its spark after the break as the pace slackens and the story moves into familiar territory. While there are also some clichés and predictable plot twists in the first half, they become more pronounced later on.

The dialogues about the Goddess being born every now and then to end atrocities against girls and women add to the tropes. Clever police work and crime solving are better in the first half, but the ultimate payoff falls short when the evil racket is revealed.

It’s an international conspiracy that seems too easy to uncover.”The good weekend numbers show that the film has enough appeal. If the word of mouth remains steady, ‘Mardaani 3’ may continue to fetch good numbers in the coming days.DISCLAIMER: Box office figures and data in this article are compiled from various public and industry sources.
