Rajpal said theater shaped his entire life. According to The Patriot website, the actor said: “Whoever I am today is thanks to the theater. It taught me to live, to be a person and, more importantly, it made me a better person.”He also said that from the moment he entered his acting school, he knew he wanted to be an actor.Rajpal said, “The day I entered the academy and started studying acting, I was clear that I was going to be an actor. This prestigious institution has such power.”He graduated in 1995 and said his time at NSD gave him everything he needed. He said it was a powerful learning experience and said they were always learning something new, whether it was acting, technical work or stage lessons.

He then rose to fame with films like Hungama, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Malamaal Weekly and many others which are still loved by the audience.Rajpal Yadav is currently serving a six-month jail term in the check bounce case. The case is almost a decade old and involves nearly Rs 9 crore. Earlier this week, he surrendered in Tihar jail. His bail hearing is scheduled for that day.
