Met Gala 2026 Feature
On November 17, 2025, the Metropolitan Museum of Art announced the Costume Institute’s spring 2026 exhibition titled “The Art of Fashion.”
The exhibition will explore representations of the clothed body in the museum’s curatorial departments, integrating clothing with art pieces dating back nearly 5,000 years, Vogue reported.The exhibition will be organized within a “series of thematic body types,” ranging from the “nude body” and the “classic body” to less familiar themes such as the “pregnant body” and “aging body.”
