Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film is already being seen as one of the biggest upcoming Tamil projects. The stylish and fun promo immediately caught attention, while fans celebrated the reunion of the two legendary stars. The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while the visuals are handled by renowned cinematographer Rajeev Menon.

In a recent interview with Cinema Vikatan, Rajeev Menon shared interesting details about how he came to join the film.
He revealed that director Nelson Dilipkumar personally called him and narrated the story. Speaking about the experience, Rajeev Menon said, “Nelson’s way of narrating the story is very entertaining. Without showing much emotion on his face, he explains the scenes with a unique sense of humor that makes you laugh.
He added that after completing the narration, Nelson asked him: “Sir, will you do the cinematography for this film?” Rajeev Menon immediately agreed and replied, “Absolutely! I liked the idea itself.”
His comments have now increased curiosity about the film among fans.

Rajeev Menon also spoke about the memorable promotional shoot featuring the legendary actors. He revealed that Nelson asked him to join the promotional shoot within a week of the first discussion. At the time, the director only gave him a hint about the main cast. Rajiv Menon said that he had previously worked with Kamal Haasan in advertisements, but this is the first time he is handling cinematography for Rajinikanth.
He described the entire photo shoot as “very exciting and full of fun moments.” Rajeev Menon particularly appreciated Nelson’s creative approach and said he liked the idea of presenting both stars as ordinary people rather than just highlighting their larger-than-life image.

Speaking further, Rajeev Menon said that the film has been designed in a way to appeal to today’s young generation as well. He stated that the response to the promo surprised him personally. “In my long film career, I have never received so many letters of appreciation for a promotional shoot,” he said. According to him, the excitement among fans after the trailer release was overwhelming. Rajeev Menon also revealed that both Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are currently busy with their individual commitments.
For this reason, the regular shooting of the film is expected to begin in August or September this year.
