The film is based on the life of the founder of the Maratha Empire, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The Hindi version of Riteish Deshmukh’s ‘Raja Shivaji’ opened with Rs 3.35 crore. Meanwhile, on the second day, the film grossed Rs 3.40 crore. Now, as per a Sacnilk report, on the third day (1st Sunday), the period drama has grossed a net collection of Rs 4.25 crore across 3,919 shows.
This brings the film’s total collection in Hindi to Rs 11 crore.
