Max Kleven, a Norwegian-born stunt artist, stunt coordinator and second unit director with credits including Our man Flint, Rollerball, The deep and Back to the future Triple, she died. He was 92 years old.
Kelvin died Wednesday of heart failure at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, his family announced.
Early in his career, Cliven doubled for Paul Burke on ABC Naked city and Glenn Corbett on CBS Route 66and served as president of the Motion Picture Stunt Association in the 1970s.

Kleven was born on August 16, 1933 in Trondheim, Norway, and spent his early years on a farm with his mother, Jenny, and his cousin, Johnny. He joined the Norwegian Merchant Marine as a teenager and came to the United States in 1951; He said the moment he saw the sunlight and palm trees in California, he knew he never wanted to leave.
Kelvin was an accomplished ski jumper in his home country, and when he was spotted sliding and flying off the cliffs in Sugarbush, Vermont, he was recruited to be a stunt performer. According to IMDb, the first film he worked on was an Academy Award winner for Best Picture Around the world in 80 days (1956).
Kelvin has performed stunts for other films including Our man Flint (1966), Killers’ row (1966), Who cares about mint? (1967), Charlie Varrick (1973), Back to the future (1985), Ruthless people (1986), Classify (1995) and Wild West (1999).
