Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are set to revive the classic ’80s family drama The youngest tramp For Crave in Canada.

The live-action drama partnership between Point Gray Pictures and Lionsgate Canada comes on the heels of their collaboration on Apple TV studio. Rogen’s Hollywood-Sindup series walked away from the 2025 Emmy Awards with Best Actor, Best Writing, and Best Directing for a Comedy Series for studioAnd the award for best overall comedy.

Reimagined The youngest tramp The series revolved around an ownerless German shepherd who wanders around helping those in need from 1979 to 1985 on CBC. The revival is the first project to come from a deal between Bell Media, parent company of Crave, Lionsgate Canada and Point Gray Pictures. Rose Ochalkas and Christopher Dew of New Hobo Productions are behind the project.

The youngest tramp It was the foundational show of our childhood. We’re thrilled to have the honor of bringing it back to a new generation alongside our partners at Crave. And although the hobo may be small, we promise big things to come. This does not mean that the dog will be as huge as Clifford. The tramp will still be young. “But the adventures will be great,” Rogen and Goldberg said in a statement.

“We are thrilled to build on our partnership with Point Gray and Bell Media to bring a new look at this beloved property to Canadian audiences,” said Scott Herbst, Lionsgate Television Group Executive Vice President and Head of Scripted Development, and Lionsgate Canada Head of Television, Jocelyn Hamilton.

Casting, production and release details for the revival have not yet been announced.
