The electric scooter space in India is booming with new launches that push the boundaries of range and performance. The latest entrant, the Simple Ultra from Simple Energy, goes head-to-head with the newly launched S1 X+ 5.2 kWh from Ola Electric.

Here’s a closer look at how these two long-range electric bikes stack up in terms of price, range, and performance.

The Simple Ultra was launched at a price of Rs 2.35 lakh, ex-showroom. The scooter is already available for purchase, with test rides and deliveries underway across multiple cities. In contrast, the Ola S1 X+ 5.2 kWh variant was launched at an introductory price of Rs 1.30 lakh, ex-showroom.

However, this price was only valid for a limited time until April 15, 2026, after which the price is expected to be revised.
