Ultraviolette has announced a new ownership benefits program. The initiative, called ‘Kill the Petrol Bill’, offers cashback benefits to buyers of the Ultraviolette F77 and X-47 based on the usage of their previous petrol two-wheeler.Under this programme, customers can get cashback equivalent to the number of kilometers they have driven on their old motorcycle or scooter over the past two years. For example, a rider who has cycled 20,000 km on his current bike will be eligible for a cashback of Rs 20,000. Ultraviolette says customers can get benefits up to Rs 30,000 under the programme.According to Ultraviolette, passengers who switch to the F77 or X-47 can save around Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 per month on fuel expenses alone, depending on usage patterns and fuel prices.
Talking about motorcycles, the Ultraviolette F77 is currently one of the highest performing electric motorcycles in India. The bike is offered in multiple variants and comes with a large 10.3 kWh battery. Ultraviolette claims an IDC-certified range of up to 323km on a single charge for the top-spec version. The motorcycle also gets features like traction control, multiple riding modes, dynamic stability control, regenerative braking, connected technology, and fast charging support.
The recently launched Ultraviolette X-47 is a crossover electric motorcycle for the brand. The Ultraviolette X47 is an electric street crossover with 7.1 kWh and 10.3 kWh batteries. It produces up to 40.2 bhp, has a top speed of 145 kmph, and prices start at Rs 1.49 lakh with battery subscription plans.
