“Stacey King was a cherished member of the Bulls family and one of the truly unique figures in the history of our organization,” Jerry Reinsdorf, Bulls owner and chairman, said in a statement about Stacy’s death. “His connection to Chicago, the Bulls and our fans spanned more than three decades – first as a player and later as an unmistakable voice who helped bring Bulls basketball into the homes of generations of fans. We will miss him greatly and remember the joy, energy, humor, candor and passion he brought to our organization, our radio programs and our fans every day.”

Who is Stacey King’s wife?
Stacey’s wife is said to be called Debbie, but he kept their relationship and family private throughout most of his career. According to multiple outlets, the couple married in 2017.
In August of that year, photographer Kenny Kim also shared a wedding photo of Stacey and Debbie on Instagram. The post was captioned, “I had the honor of capturing the wedding of beloved Chicago icon Mr. Stacey King and his beautiful wife Debbie. As most of you guys know, Stacey is a beloved Chicago icon, a great Bulls broadcaster, and a three-time World Champion for the Chicago Bulls. More highlights your way!”
Was Stacey King still married to his wife when he died?
It is unclear whether Stacey and Debbie were still married when he died in 2026. His Facebook page indicated that he was single, although that may have just been an oversight on his part.
Does Stacey King have children?
Yes. Stacy is survived by four children: Eric, Garrett, Brandon and Mason. Although the late father of four kept his family out of the public eye, he would occasionally share photos of them on social media.
In 2014, Stacey posted a photo shoot with three of his children.
