Indian men in Canada have been praised for saving a distressed woman from a harasser on a cricket field in a viral video

A group of Indian-origin men saved a woman from a stalker in a viral video from Canada.

A video of a group of Indian men saving a woman from a harasser at a cricket ground in British Columbia, Canada, has won hearts on social media for saving the reputation of Indians abroad.

In the recent past, all the viral videos involving Indians have been in the news for the wrong reasons, portraying Indians as a rude community littering tourist spots, dancing in airports, etc. As this video spread from Canada, Indians commented saying that people should also share this video to show the world who Indians are.In the video, a group of men of Indian origin can be seen talking to a man who is allegedly harassing a woman at the cricket field where these Indian men were playing.

The woman was walking her dog and looked sad. A group of Indian men intervened and created a protective shield around the woman and asked the man to stay away. The man was heard shouting, “Don’t touch me.”

The alleged stalker said he only said hello to the woman and nothing else. The men told him there was no need if he didn’t know the woman. They said they already had the video and would call the police. Finally, the man left the place while drinking his coffee and asked them if the land belonged to them.

The men told the harasser that this was a private field for playing cricket. Some reports claimed that the players were from Prince George Cricket Club. One wrote: “Let’s not just amplify the negative. Share the positive, celebrate good deeds, and help create a more balanced picture of our communities. Every act of kindness matters, and every positive story is worth watching.” Many users pointed out how peacefully the situation was resolved – without harsh words, as the Indian men did not attack the stalker but responded to his queries. “Nobody’s touching you,” the men told the stalker when he refused to leave and said he would watch the match.
