Gelicia Westhoff, the mother of Maduka Okoye’s son, is back in the headlines after posting serious allegations against the Nigerian goalkeeper on Instagram. Her post came just hours after Okoye was seen having dinner with rapper Cardi B in Venice, Italy, leading many to link the two events. Westhoff accused the Udinese goalkeeper of cheating, abuse and failing to take care of their son.
Okoye has not responded publicly to the allegations, and neither he nor his representatives have issued a statement. These allegations have not been independently verified.
Gelicia Westhoff: Madoka Okoye’s long-time partner and mother of his son
Gelicia Westhoff is a Dutch model, entrepreneur and former beauty queen. She won the Miss Harlem title in 2015 before moving into business. With her sisters, she co-founded Westhoff Group, a fashion brand based in Amsterdam. The family also runs companies in children’s clothing, beauty products and makeup training.
Westhoff and Maduka Okoye first met in 2020 and later welcomed their son, Emiliano Isaiah Okoye, on October 14, 2022. Over the years, she has often shared family moments online and spoken about supporting Okoye during difficult periods in his football career. According to her previous posts, she stood by his side after his surgery, encouraged him when he was struggling professionally and helped him through the tough times.But their relationship witnessed many breakups and public reconciliations.
In September 2024, Westhoff announced that they had split before later confirming that they had worked things out. In early July 2026, she suggested they focus on family and moving forward together.
Maduka Okoye is facing new allegations after seeing Cardi B’s dinner
The situation changed on July 20 after TMZ posted videos showing Okoye having dinner with Cardi B at Gio Restaurant inside the St. Regis Hotel in Venice. The two also attended Jean Paul Gaultier’s couture show together during Paris Fashion Week earlier this month.Shortly after these reports surfaced, Westhoff shared a series of emotional stories on Instagram accusing Okoye of cheating and abuse. I wrote:“You were cheating on me in every way, when you just gave birth to our child, and I still chose to flog you, but because you just had surgery and none of your people took care of you, because you weren’t even playing, and you weren’t even on the couch crying your eyes out, I motivated you, I cooked for you.”She later added:“Instead of loving us. You hit me! You cheated on me. With men and women, you are the damned Devil King who tried to ruin my life. You don’t take care of your only son! Because I don’t want to be with you, I will never forgive you.”Westhoff also claimed that police had been called during previous incidents and said their son was taken to hospital several times in late 2025 while Okoye was absent. She shared screenshots that appear to show legal communications about child support and parenting responsibilities.Meanwhile, she said her posts were not motivated by jealousy of Cardi B, insisting she is speaking out because she no longer wants to protect Okoye’s image.So far, Okoye has remained silent. Cardi B has also not commented on the dating rumors or Westhoff’s allegations.
