The arrest of two YouTubers who were closely following the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping case has sparked strong reactions online. Alexander Zabel, known as Alex, and Troy Bradshaw, known online as DAA Juice, were arrested outside Guthrie’s home in Tucson, Arizona, on June 8.

According to Cold News 13, Zabel was charged with obstructing a highway or public road and public nuisance, while Bradshaw was charged with public nuisance.The arrests became a major discussion point on social media. Many users criticized Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, claiming the action could discourage independent coverage of the case. Others argued that YouTubers played a role in bringing public attention to the investigation into Guthrie’s disappearance.

Alex Zabel and Troy Bradshaw built an online fan base while covering the Nancy Guthrie case

Alex Zabel runs the CriminalNetwork YouTube channel, a true crime platform with over 22,000 subscribers. Based in Tucson, Arizona, Zable creates content about criminal investigations, documentaries, news, and other projects. He is also known for producing multiple documentaries about the Delphi murders. Over the past few months, he has regularly posted updates and discussions regarding the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping case.

Troy Bradshaw, who goes by DAA Juice online, has more than 19,000 subscribers on YouTube. Although his channel mainly features gaming content, he began covering Guthrie’s disappearance months ago. Bradshaw often broadcast from outside the Guthrie home and discussed new developments in the investigation with viewers.According to information shared on his Facebook profile, Bradshaw graduated from Tucson High Magnet School in 2010 and then attended Pima Community College, graduating in 2012.

He also describes himself as a father of two children.Another local crime blogger, Damien Todd Enderle, was also arrested during the incident, KOLD News 13 reported. However, he was later released after receiving a citation.After the arrests, social media users posted messages criticizing Sheriff Chris Nanos and questioning the department’s actions. Some users alleged profiling and claimed that authorities were targeting people covering the case, although these claims remain unproven. As the online debate continues, attention remains focused on both the arrests and the ongoing search for answers in the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping investigation.
