YouTuber Mukbang Yuno has apologized after coming under fire for a video filmed during a long flight. The creator, who has more than 780,000 subscribers on YouTube, recorded himself ordering food more than 20 times while sitting in first class on a flight that lasted about 15 hours.
Many viewers felt that the frequent food requests created extra work for the flight attendants and could have inconvenienced other passengers. After backlash spread online, Yuno deleted the video and issued a public apology, admitting that he made a bad decision.

A video showed Yuno ordering food and snacks throughout the trip as part of the mukbang challenge. During the trip, he reportedly ordered seven bowls of ramen with salad, bread, fruit, sandwiches, cheese, tiramisu and other items.

Shortly after the video was uploaded, many viewers criticized the YouTuber. They said ordering food multiple times during a single flight puts an unnecessary burden on cabin crew. Others also believe that constant requests may make nearby occupants uncomfortable in the shared space.As the criticism continued to grow, Yuno removed the video from his YouTube channel and addressed the situation through a detailed apology that he posted on his YouTube page.

In his apology, Yuno explained that he asked permission from the flight attendants before filming. He said he planned to order only food while other passengers would be served meals or snacks.

But he admitted that obtaining permission did not make his repeated requests acceptable. Yuno said he failed to consider how ordering too many meals could become extra work for flight attendants or make other passengers feel uncomfortable.He also admitted that there was something in the way the challenge was presented in terms of the video thumbnail that made it seem more exciting because he became so focused on making it unique.Yuno stressed that he will be more careful in the future because creating entertaining videos should not replace showing respect to those around him. He concluded his speech by apologizing to the flight attendants who continued to be courteous even when his demands were unreasonable.The incident sparked another conversation online regarding mukbang videos and creators’ obligations when filming them in public places.
