'GDN' Release Date: R Madhavan's biographical drama on GD Naidu arrives on August 7

R Madhavan will be seen on the big screens in the upcoming biographical period drama GDN Directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar, the film highlights the life of famous Indian inventor GDN.

Naidu. The makers of the film have now officially announced its theatrical release date.

The production house took to its Instagram account to share a brand new poster from the film. In the post, they revealed that the film is scheduled to release on August 7.

The caption read: “The story of a man driven by passion… fueled by legacy. #GDN will be released worldwide on August 7.”

Naidu. He is seen waving his arm and there is a Baja band around him.Talking about the film, it also features Sathyaraj, Priyamani, Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan and many other actors in important roles.

The film is set during the pre-independence period and tells the story of GD Naidu’s life as an inventor, entrepreneur and visionary. It is also known as the “Edison of India”. The makers of the film released the trailer earlier this month in Coimbatore.

It shows how GD Naidu worked hard to achieve his dreams despite facing many problems.Interestingly, the screenplay of the film was written by Krishnakumar Ramakumar and R Madhavan together. Meanwhile, Govind Vasantha has composed the music and background score. On the other hand, Aravind Kamalanathan is handling the cinematography, while Bijith Bala is handling the editing.The film is all set for a pan-India release where it will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.After its theatrical release, it will stream on Netflix.
