Caleb explained that he had not lived with D4vd for years and that they had not been very close growing up. According to him, they only talk occasionally during family visits or tours. The controversy began after TMZ published a report on May 5 claiming that Caleb was preparing to release music focused on romance and relationships while D4vd was facing serious legal trouble linked to the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez.
Caleb responded by saying that people are spreading false stories without understanding the full situation. He also stressed that his focus remained on wanting justice for Celeste and not raising the case himself.
