(HT)Goyal’s recorded video message to farmers was uploaded early Friday in response to Gandhi’s recorded video in Hindi on social media X, where the LoP alleged that “any trade deal that takes away the livelihood of farmers or undermines the country’s food security is anti-farmer”. Gandhi was referring to the recently concluded Indo-US Framework Agreement for bilateral trade, which will be formally signed after legal scrubbing at the end of March.

Denying the LOP’s allegations, Goyal Said: “Rahul Gandhiji is a habitual liar. He has no concern for Mother India or the welfare of our farmers and youth.”

In a video released today, he (Gandhi) broke all records of lying and making baseless allegations, Goyal said. “He is misleading our farmers with his fake narrative and trying to provoke our food donors,” he added.

Goyal He said, “He [Gandhi] He never took care of our motherland, and we cannot expect him to work for a strong and prosperous future for India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji has always sympathized with our Kisan brothers and sisters,” he said.

Talking about the Modi government’s policies and the prime minister’s priorities, Goyal said: “He [PM] Always prioritized the interests of farmers and took all decisions to ensure their prosperity. Modiji has implemented several schemes that have changed the lives of crores of farmers.”

“We have opened up a huge market for cotton textile exports which will benefit cotton farmers by multiplying the demand for cotton,” he added.

The minister made it clear that “every decision taken on trade deals is in the best interest of Mother India and 140 crore Indians” including our farmers and youth. “I don’t think Rahul ji cares for the benefit of our farmers or will ever understand what is good for our food donors. I want to assure all our farmers that your interests are fully protected today and will always be protected,” he said in the video.

“A U.S. trade deal will benefit farmers with higher export farm output and increased demand, with higher prices and prosperity for farmers,” he said.

He accused Gandhi of perjury and said: “Let me say Mr Rahul Gandhi…No matter how much you lie or try to mislead our farmers or even try to disrespect the country, a proud, prosperous, strong, self-reliant and developed India under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji is assured.”
