Suvinder Pal Vicky is receiving praise for his poignant performance as Brigadier Jahangir in Dhurandhar 2. From the viral ‘Aa gaya Pandu’ dialogue to the disturbing fellatio sequence, the actor’s portrayal has struck a chord with audiences.

In a recent conversation, he spoke candidly about the character’s multi-layered personality, the intense scenes, and the comebacks that come his way.

“That sourness in his language is the right word.”

Speaking about Brigadier General Jehangir’s sharp, almost harsh tone, Suvinder explained that it stemmed from deep-rooted frustration.“This frustration is a fundamental part of Brigadier General Jehangir. He is someone who saw power… especially during the 1971 war, and now he cannot exercise that control anymore.”

His son also does not follow his path. He told Fereydoun Shahryar that helplessness and frustration are what distinguish him.He added: “At the same time, the character has many harsh traits – you might even feel hatred towards him. He is foul-mouthed, paternalistic, and aggressive. This ‘acidity’ in his language is the right word for him.”

Viral ‘Aa gaya Pandu’ moment

Apart from the intensity, one of the dialogues that has been well received by the audiences is ‘Aa gaya Pandu’, which is now being shared widely online.

“It’s a great feeling when people talk about your work, make memes, and your dialogues become popular – it’s like food for an actor,” Suvinder said.He revealed that the moment came naturally during filming. “That tone and that laugh — it all came very naturally from within. It was about building that inner frustration and then letting go of it in that moment.”

Shocking blowjob scene with Arjun Rampal

Another major talking point was the disturbing tongue-pulling sequence featuring Arjun Rampal. Suvinder shared that the scene was performed with minimal training to retain realism.“We didn’t over-rehearse. I told Arjun: ‘Do whatever you need to do in the scene.’ He even asked me if I was comfortable, and I said yes. “The more realistic it seems, the better.”He added: “When someone pulls your tongue, the pain is real, and that helps the performance. We wanted it to feel organic and not theatrical.”Speaking about the emotional shift in the scene, he said: “There’s a helplessness – he’s calling out, but he’s not in a position physically to do much.

“So he’s trying to moderate his approach.”

The rest is up to the audience, as their love means everything.”Suvinder also revealed that his portions were completed in a tight timeline.“It was an interior shoot done over the course of a night and a day. There were costume and body changes between scenes, especially for the pelvic sequence, which required a lot of preparation.”The actor admitted that Dhurandhar 2 has brought him widespread fame.“Before, people would ask me if I was an actor. Now they instantly recognize me as ‘Brigadier Saab.’ This is a big change,” he said, adding that offers have started coming to him.

On the co-stars and the craft

Praising Arjun Rampal, Suvinder said, “Awesome. Easy.
