Hollywood ReporterAccess Canada’s Access Canada Summit will return for a second edition during the Toronto Film Festival in September.

Canadian Industry Conference organizers have teamed up with TIFF: The Market during the Toronto 2026 edition to offer co-programming sessions and a double-pass option to allow global innovators and decision-makers to attend both events.

“At a time when the industry is rethinking how it communicates and does business, collaborations like this feel timely and necessary. Bringing TIFF: Top of the Market and Reach Canada into closer alignment creates a more focused and effective environment for creatives and decision-makers to engage and helps move the global conversation forward,” said Mayer Roshan, Editor-in-Chief of the magazine hollywood Reporter, He said in a statement on Thursday.

The official collaboration includes an affordable Market + Access Canada Summit Combo Pass for the Access Canada Summit, scheduled for September 14-16, and a September 10-16 TIFF: Market and sessions co-programmed for both events.

“Access Canada Summit, powered by Hollywood Reporterand TIFF: Both markets play a unique and important role in the industry, and this initiative is about creating a smoother path between them. “At a time when the industry demands more value, more efficiency and more access to decision makers, this joint offering delivers just that,” added Access Canada President Vern Cohen.

In September, the Toronto festival will hold its first official marketplace, where buyers and sellers will set up shop for film, TV, gaming as well as XR and immersive content under one roof. In advance of the inaugural screening, TIFF has joined forces with Access Canada Summit to attract more industry professionals.

“Building a marketplace that supports creators and decision-makers across film, series and innovation has always been our goal. Creating more opportunities for series professionals, both in Canada and globally, in partnership with Access Canada allows us to achieve our shared goals and put the needs of professionals first,” Charles Tremblay, president of TIFF: Marketplace, said in another statement.

Last year’s inaugural Access Canada Summit, in partnership with thr, He focused on the content industry in Canada as it transitioned into the global entertainment arena and was supported by keynote speakers, panels and deal-making among senior creators and decision-makers.
