16 Netflix Shows Ending in 2026: 'With Love, Meghan,' 'The Night Agent,' 'The Lincoln Lawyer,' and More Are Leaving Their Home Online

The OTT Grim Reaper has had a busy 2026. So far, 11 shows have been canceled from the streaming lineup, with another five wrapping up on their own terms. Here’s the full list of all the shows ending this year.

1. “The Displaced”

In January, it was reported that The Abandons, a Western series starring Lena Headey and Gillian Anderson, had been cancelled. The series was turbulent even before it premiered, with creator Kurt Sutter leaving production weeks before filming wrapped due to reported creative differences. Sutter took to Instagram to post a heated message that read: “Next time fear forces you to choose an algorithm over a creator’s vision, remember how that choice revealed a potentially beautiful project,” before later deleting it after a call from a corporate lawyer.

2. “The Night Agent”

On May 4, it was announced that the upcoming fourth season of The Night Agent would be its last. Creator and director Sean Ryan was clear that this was an intentional creative decision and not a cancellation. “Since the initial success of The Night Agent, I have been obsessed with delivering a fitting and exciting conclusion to the series and Peter Sutherland’s journey,” Ryan said in an official statement.

3. “City Sale”

“Selling the City,” a spin-off of the popular reality series “Selling Sunset” set in New York City, has been canceled after just one season. Speaking to PEOPLE magazine, star Eleonora Srugo said she had no hard feelings. “I am so grateful for this experience and for all the people around the world who have been connected to it,” she said.

4. “Bandy”

French series “Bandi” has been canceled just weeks after airing its first season in April. In a statement to the French website RCI, he described the decision as “a difficult decision and not taken lightly.”

5. “Balloon popping”

Live-action dating show “Pop the Balloon,” hosted by Yvonne Orji, will reportedly not return for a second season. The quirky show was based on the YouTube series of the same name and had contestants holding balloons as they were judged by a panel of singles.

6. “Terminator Zero”

In February, Terminator Zero creator Mattson Tomlin confirmed to Channel X that his animated spin-off of the Terminator series had been canceled after one season.

“It was cancelled. The audience reception for it was tremendous, but at the end of the day not enough people watched it,” he wrote.

7. “Alice in Borderland”

It has been confirmed that the popular Japanese sci-fi film ‘Alice in Borderland’ will end after season 3 with syndication reporting for the second half of 2025. The season was recording a decline in both critical reviews and audience ratings, and fans who wanted a resolution to its cliffhanger ending were disappointed.

8. Vince Staples’ Show

Although it performed well with audiences over two seasons, “The Vince Staples Show” was unable to find a wider audience, and was canceled in January 2026.

9. “Lincoln’s Lawyer”

The popular legal drama “The Lincoln Lawyer,” based on Michael Connelly’s book series, will end its fifth season, which is currently in production. Co-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dylan Rodriguez issued a joint statement saying, “All good things must come to an end, but fortunately sometimes it’s up to us how they come to an end.”

10. “With love, Meghan”

The Duchess of Sussex’s lifestyle show will reportedly not return for a third season. A source told PEOPLE in January that there were “currently no plans” to continue. A spokesperson later confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that the partnership with Markle’s As Ever brand has also ended. “Meghan’s passion to uplift everyday moments in beautiful, simple ways inspired the creation of the As Ever brand, and we’re thrilled to have played a part in making that vision a reality,” the spokesperson said.

11. “Miss Governor”

Tyler Perry’s political comedy “Miss Governor,” which debuted in May 2025, will not return for a second season. In an Instagram video in March, star Terri J. Vaughn confirmed the news, saying, “I have to admit, I was pretty sad when I first got the information. I really did my best to make this show come to fruition.”

12. “Alpha males”

The sixth season of the Spanish comedy series “Alpha Males” will be the last. After the premiere of season 5, it was confirmed that the sixth season in production will serve as the show’s farewell, consisting of 10 episodes.

13. “Class”

“Class,” an Indian remake of the Spanish series “Elite,” was initially renewed for a second season, but actor Gurfateh Pirzada confirmed on Instagram that it would not be going ahead. As reported by the men’s magazine, he wrote: “Unfortunately we couldn’t give you another season because life usually has other plans.”

14. “Breathless”

The third season of the Spanish medical drama “Breathless” will be the last. It was announced in May that production had begun on the third and final season, which will consist of eight episodes.

15. “Survival of the Fish”

The comedy-drama series starring Michel Buteau will get a proper send-off with its third season, set to premiere on July 2. Speaking to Tudum, Butu promised that the final episodes “will live, live loudly, and we’ll tie them up and let them loose, baby!”

16. “Billionaires’ Hideout”

Spanish psychological thriller series Billionaires Bunker will not return for a second season, with the news confirmed to El País in December 2025.
