Water supply is set to be cut in several parts of Delhi on April 7, as the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) carries out annual maintenance work. The civic body issued an advisory urging residents in the affected areas to store sufficient amount of water in advance.

What areas were affected on April 7?

On April 7, the affected areas include Sultanpuri, Sector 3 Pocket F (23 Rohini), Sector 3 Pocket A-1 Rohini, Mobilization Point and Karala Village along with surrounding areas, Sector 3 Pocket B (10 Rohini), Sector 3 Pocket C (12 Rohini).

Residents of these areas are advised to make the necessary arrangements in advance to avoid inconvenience.

The DJB also advised residents to store enough water to meet daily needs, use water wisely during the disruption period, and contact helpline services if necessary.

The disruption is expected to last for one day in each affected area, depending on the maintenance schedule. However, it may take some time for normal water supply to fully resume after the cleaning process is complete.
