Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for “standing for the truth” amid the Israel-US war with Iran.

Netanyahu also said that he spoke with Prime Minister Modi yesterday, along with other regional leaders. He was reportedly in Beit Shemesh, where an Iranian missile attack killed 9 people on Sunday.
NDTV quoted Netanyahu as saying, “I spoke with our great friend, Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I spoke to him at length yesterday and thanked him for standing with Israel and for standing by the truth and for the tremendous friendship that the people of India have.”
He added: “They are greatly admired and loved in Israel. I will not go into the details of the conversation, but I spoke to him, and I spoke to many other leaders in the region and beyond.”
The report comes amid Iranian claims that it targeted Netanyahu’s office in an attack on Monday. It was not immediately clear if he was in his office at the time.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed on Monday that it attacked Benjamin Netanyahu’s office amid the escalation of war in the region.
The Public Relations Department of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard said that in addition to targeting the Israeli Prime Minister’s office, Iranian forces also attacked a site where the commander of the Israeli Air Force was located.
The Revolutionary Guard said in a statement carried by Fars News Agency: “The office of the criminal prime minister of the Zionist regime and the headquarters of the commander of the regime’s air forces were targeted.” The statement also stated that Khaybar missiles were used in the attack.
