A complaint regarding the posts has been lodged with Vasant Kunj police station on behalf of the family, news agency PTI reported, citing sources. Based on the complaint, the police reportedly took legal action and arrested the influencer.
Singh was then interrogated and detained as part of the investigation. He was released on bail about five hours after his arrest, senior lawyer Mahesh Jethmalani tweeted, adding that the influencer was arrested in a “petty and baseless case.”
What did he post?
Screenshots of the now-deleted tweet show Singh making statements about Kapoor’s wife claiming the authenticity of the will. In his post, he questioned the businessman’s “urgent need to execute a will so close to his death.”
