Kannada superstar Yash stole the limelight at the grand trailer launch of ‘Ramayana’ in New Delhi after receiving a thunderous welcome from fans. When the actor took the stage alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi,

and the rest of the cast, the venue chanted “Daddy’s Home,” creating one of the biggest viral moments of the star-studded event.

Since then, videos of Yash’s entrance have taken over social media, while excitement continues to build ahead of the trailer of ‘Ramayana: Part 1’ released on July 24.

As reported by India Today, Yash gave a warm and comprehensive tribute after joining producer Namit Malhotra on stage. Addressing the crowd in several languages, he said:“Namaskara, namaskaram, vanakam, swagatam, namaskar (sic).”The actor also briefly shared his feelings about being associated with the ambitious project.

He expressed his happiness, saying: “I am very happy to be part of this wonderful project.”Although his interaction was brief, the audience responded with thunderous applause, making it clear that Yash remained one of the biggest attractions of the evening.

The trailer launch of ‘Bharat Mandapam’ witnessed the presence of many prominent names from the film industry. He attended the event along with Yash, Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey, Kunal Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi, Rakul Preet Singh, Shobhana, and the director.

The celebrations began with a speech by poet Kumar Vishwas, who spoke about the enduring legacy of the Ramayana and its importance in Indian culture. Next, the audience enjoyed a live musical performance by renowned sitar artist Rishabh Rekhiram Sharma, who blended devotional melodies with contemporary arrangements. Many spiritual leaders, including Baba Ramdev and Anandmurti Guruma, were also present at the event, adding additional significance to the occasion.The makers have planned an international release for the Ramayana trailer before unveiling it to audiences across the globe. The trailer will premiere at Comic-Con San Diego on July 20, introducing the film to a global audience. Following the special screening, the trailer is scheduled to be released to the public on July 24, allowing fans around the world to watch it online.Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, has been shot as a two-part film adaptation.

The first part is scheduled to release on Diwali 2026, while the concluding chapter is expected to hit theaters in 2027.Apart from Ramayana, Yash is also gearing up for another high-profile release with Toxic, directed by Jeetu Mohandas. The actor will reportedly portray a dual role in the film, where he will share screen space with Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. With an estimated budget of Rs 850-1000 crore, ‘Toxic’ is expected to rank among the most expensive Indian productions ever.
