United Talent Agency is moving its New York City office to one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Hollywood Reporter I’ve learned.
UTA will move into the Empire State Building in July of 2027, occupying more than 100,000 square feet across four floors of the building, which is located at 34th Street and 5th Ave.
UTA’s New York office is currently located farther north in Midtown across the street from Carnegie Hall, but as the agency advances into areas such as brand consulting, sports and executive search alongside traditional film, television, publishing and business, its presence in New York has become larger. UTA also has a large creatives company, having launched that division two decades ago, which also has a large presence in New York.
“Our move to one of New York City’s most iconic landmarks is a reflection of UTA’s continued growth and our long-term commitment to New York as a global center of culture, creativity and business,” says Bob Roback, UTA’s COO. “As we expand our integrated talent representation and brand advisory business, New York has become an increasingly important hub for our clients and our firm. This new office reflects the scale of our ambitions and positions us to continue building the future of talent, media, sports and brand representation.”
Built in 1930, the Empire State Building is one of New York’s biggest tourist attractions and perhaps the most recognizable building on the city’s skyline. Empire State Realty Trust, which manages the building, is seeking to modernize and improve its office space to keep pace with the competitive corporate environment.
ESRT says the building now features more than 65,000 square feet of tenant amenities, including eight dining options, a fitness center, a conference center, a basketball/pickleball court and two golf simulators.
“We are thrilled to welcome United Talent Agency to the ‘World’s Most Famous Building’ and support the company’s continued growth,” added Ryan Cass, Executive Vice President, Co-Head of Real Estate and Chief Revenue Officer at ESRT. “The Empire State Building fosters collaboration, attracts top talent, enhances the employee experience, and is a premier destination for the world’s most innovative and influential companies.”
