Ram Charan certainly has a huge fan base in India and even abroad. His international fan base was boosted mainly thanks to SS Rajamouli’s song ‘RRR’. Ram Charan has performed many romantic scenes in his hit films, and once he talked about how his wife Upasana Konidela reacts to such scenes.

Ram Charan talks about how a wife reacts to intimate scenes

In a 2013 interview with Masala, Ram Charan shared, “I think she (Upasana) gets jealous when she sees the way I communicate with my mother. As for the intimate scenes, I think I shouldn’t lie about that. Yes, she wasn’t comfortable with it at first. It’s understandable, she comes from a completely different background, so it was difficult for her to accept me doing those scenes. Honestly, I wasn’t sure she would understand, but to my surprise, she did!” I integrated it with my family.

He explained that it took time for Upasana to understand the film industry. He gradually helped her learn about how film sets work.

Ram Charan’s marriage

Ram Charan and Upasana got engaged in December 2011. They tied the knot in a grand ceremony in June 2012. Their relationship has become stronger over the years.On the work front, Ram Charan is all set for the film Peddi which will release in June 2026.The actor recently showed his appreciation for the team behind Vaazha 2. He shared a picture with the team and wrote, “Had a great time catching up with the team of Vaazha 2. The film which turned out to be a blockbuster in Malayalam is now all set to hit the Telugu audience. Happy to see Sahu Garapati and Archana taking this film to a wider audience. I wish the driving force behind it, Vipin Das, director Savin SA, and the young team all the best.”
