Five years after the actor died due to complications related to his cancer diagnosis, his wife spoke about what her life has been like since then. Speaking to The Guardian earlier this year, Simon said, “The edges of grief become less sharp over time. Five years certainly feels like a marker. I gradually had to figure out how to talk about Chad. What do I want to share, what do I feel comfortable sharing? “He never wanted to be treated differently. A lot of the roles he did were very physical, and he still wanted to do them. He didn’t want to be judged for what he was experiencing. He didn’t want his diagnosis to interfere with work,” she said at the time.Over the years, Boseman has become a force to be reckoned with and is still remembered for his work, as well as his resilience. His words have now become a blueprint for understanding how important it is to be grateful for life, and all the things that come with it, which include trials and tribulations, along with successes and winning points as well.
