Brad Pitt goes into survival mode in the first look at director David Ayer’s upcoming thriller Heart of the Beast. Paramount released new photos from the film, in which Pitt plays a Special Forces officer stranded in the Alaskan wilderness with his fighting dog, Odin.
The film follows Pete and the dog in a brutal battle for survival after a plane crash leaves them far from help.

According to ComicBookMovie. com, citing GQ, the first look includes six images from “Heart of the Beast.” The report said that Pitt plays James Belmont, a Special Forces officer who must survive in the wilderness with Odin after their plane goes down.The film’s official synopsis says James and Odin are forced into a “brutal battle for survival against the elements.”
He also describes the story as a thrilling adventure story about “the unbreakable bond between a man and his best friend.”The first look comes ahead of the expected trailer launch. Comedy movie. com reports that the trailer is rumored to arrive online on Thursday, June 11. The report also said it may premiere with screenings of Steven Spielberg’s “Disclosure Day” this weekend.

Heart of the Beast reunites Brad Pitt with director David Ayer after the 2014 war drama Fury.
This film has grossed over $211 million worldwide and remains one of their most famous collaborations.Ayer is directing Heart of the Beast from a screenplay by newcomer Cameron Alexander. Pitt and Ayer also serve as producers on the project. Damien Chazelle is attached as executive producer.The cast also includes JK Simmons and Anna Lambe. Simmons has appeared in films and shows such as “Spider-Man,” “Whiplash,” and “Invincible.”
Lambie is known for the films “True Detective: Night Country,” “The Social Reckoning” and “North of North.”The film adds to Pitt’s busy career. He’ll also headline David Fincher’s “The Adventures of Cliff Booth,” which is scheduled to hit theaters around Thanksgiving before arriving on Netflix on December 23. It’s also attached to Edward Berger’s psychological thriller “The Riders,” which has yet to have a release date.“Heart of the Beast” is scheduled to hit theaters on September 25.
