Prime Video on Thursday announced the launch of its new initiative, Obsession Is In Session, to signal the streamer’s “commitment to being the leading destination for young adult audiences.” Consolidating the initiative is Maniac festival – The inaugural summer event for streamers that will bring “the internet’s most passionate audiences to life.”

Attendees can expect a central hub of programming featuring “talent-led live sessions,” exclusive footage and interactive fan moments; A literary lounge for author signings, live talks, workshops, curated bookshelves, and “a collection of cinematic content studios where fans can step into scenes recreated from the headlines and capture personalized photos and video moments.” A screening room, exclusive merchandise, “dining experiences inspired by on-screen moments, and shared fan spaces” will also be available.
