‘Ohh My Dog’ Trailer: Pankaj Tripathi’s film promises a family entertainer; Dog stars Oscar and Bruno shine
The makers of Ohh My Dog have unveiled the official trailer for the upcoming family entertainer, giving viewers an honest preview of its emotional story. The film is directed by Amit Rai, who previously directed Oh My God 2, and is scheduled to hit theaters on July 31.

Oscar and Bruno Stealing the spotlight
One of the highlights of the trailer launch was the special black-and-white promotional video dedicated to the film’s stars, Oscar and Bruno. The two dogs also attended the launch.The film features Mahi Rai, Pankaj Tripathi, Geeta Aggarwal Sharma, Rajesh Kumar, Pawan Malhotra, Sulakhyana Baruah, and Vijay Mishra in important roles. Oscar and Bruno play central characters in the story, while more than 250 dogs were part of the production.
The story revolves around the deep friendship between a young girl and a stray dog. Through their relationship, the film explores themes of love, trust, loyalty, empathy, and hope.
Pankaj Tripathi explains why he works without pay
Along with the trailer launch, Pankaj Tripathi recently spoke to Mid Day about his decision to waive his remuneration for the project. The actor explained that he wanted to support director Amit Rai and contribute to a film that puts storytelling above commercial considerations.
Tripathi revealed that his long association with producer Ajay Rai and director Amit Ray played an important role in his decision. He said: “Ajay Rai, the producer, and Amit Rai are old friends of mine.
Commercial films are made with the backing of money, but for independent and small films where the story is important, who will support them if not actors like us?” Pankaj Tripathi also recalled his experience while shooting for Ohh My Dog, and revealed that setting the story in Bihar made the project more personal for him.
Although filming was initially scheduled to last only a few days, he voluntarily extended his stay and even arranged local support for the production.He shared, “The story is set in Bihar. Amit asked me to shoot for four days, and I told him that I will come for six days. I also called my friends in Bihar and we supported the film in every way. In the end, I stayed for seven days.” “Ohh My Dog” promises to be more than just family entertainment.
