Following Kris Jenner’s heartfelt note on social media about the death of her mother, Mary Jo Shannon, Khloe Kardashian, the youngest Kardashian sister, reached out online to offer her condolences.
Sharing a post on her social media, she reminisced about some of the fond memories she shared with her grandmother MJ.

Khloe Kardashian, on her Instagram account on July 19, shared, along with a series of photos, her emotional tribute to her grandmother, Mary Jo Shannon, who died a few days ago at the age of 91. She dedicated her note to her grandmother and began it by saying: “Dear MJ. Thank you for showing us that life is about celebration, that laughter is healing, and that love is the greatest legacy we can leave behind.
I lived fully, gracefully, and so beautifully.Furthermore, she talked about how her children knowing their great-grandmother was one of the best things in life, something she will forever cherish and be grateful for. Along with the long message, the 42-year-old also shared glimpses of the two over the years. Several photos from years ago showed the grandmother-granddaughter duo in their most candid moments, including a photo of MJ holding her as a baby.
The younger Kardashian sister added, “You taught us that love never leaves. It lives on in the family we built, the traditions we will continue, the stories we will tell, and every time we choose joy. Your love will forever be woven into who we are. Thank you for every lesson, every laugh, every embrace, and every piece of your heart you gave so freely. You were truly one of one.” She also added in the post that she knows how much they will be welcomed in heaven and how she will meet their father there as well.
Khloe concluded her post by sharing, “I know you’re happy to have a Coke, a tuna sandwich, and graham crackers with Papa Harry while Karen dances around you. Until we meet again, my dear MJ! I love you (white heart emoji).”On July 16, Kris Jenner took to her social media platform and shared an old photo of her mother, along with the news that she had departed for her heavenly abode. Kris Jenner posted, “Today, we said goodbye to my beautiful mama MJ,” she wrote on Instagram on Thursday, July 16. “There are no words that can express what she meant to me or the heartache of having to say goodbye. My mom was the heart of our family. She taught me everything that truly matters…to love your family fiercely, to be kind, to show up for the people you love, and to never take a single moment together for granted.”
In her post, she also called her the heart of the family and talked about how much she misses her.
