Kanye West will perform a one-night Los Angeles concert at SoFi Stadium in April, the venue announced Monday, marking the rapper’s most high-profile US show in years after West faced widespread backlash across the entire entertainment industry over his string of anti-Semitic comments dating back to 2022.
West will play SoFi on April 3 in what has been announced as his “only Los Angeles performance,” according to the venue’s announcement. The stadium said the general sale of tickets will take place on Wednesday at 11 a.m
West’s concerts have become more rare since the rapper’s controversial anti-Semitic comments from 2022 onwards. His comments ranged from spreading stereotypes about Jews to expressing his admiration for Adolf Hitler and describing himself as a Nazi. He performed several shows and listening events in China and Korea in 2024 and 2025, and also gave two shows in Mexico in January.
West’s booking agency CAA dropped him as a client in 2022 after West tweeted a call to “death con 3 on Jewish people”, and Cara Lewis reportedly represented him in 2024. Although by February of 2025, he was represented by booking agency 33 and West, with Daniel McCartney dropping him from the agency after another round of anti-Semitic actions when West released an infamous Super Bowl ad directing viewers to a website West was selling In it. Booking in the West has been a danger to promoters for years not only because of hateful comments, but because of reliability concerns as well. West famously canceled the remainder of his St. Pablo tour after suffering a mental health breakdown in 2016, and in 2022, he canceled headlining sets at both Rolling Loud Miami and Coachella weeks before those shows.
A representative for SoFi Stadium confirmed Hollywood Reporter Rapper Rod Wave’s promotion company Mainstay Touring will serve as the promoter for the April concert.
West’s upcoming show comes as the rapper appears to be gearing up for a comeback. He took out an advertisement in Wall Street Journal Earlier this year he apologized for his hateful remarks, citing untreated bipolar disorder and brain trauma in his claims while also saying “I love Jewish people.”
“I am deeply remorseful and ashamed for my actions in that case, and I am committed to accountability, redress, and meaningful change,” West’s announcement said.
While West’s actions cost him CAA as well as deals like his Adidas Yeezy project, he has remained one of the most streamed artists in the industry, coming in at No. 10 on Spotify’s year-end 2025 list of the top 10 artists in the United States. He currently has nearly 70 million monthly listeners on the platform.
Amid news of the apology, it was confirmed that West’s next album Bully It will be released on March 20. Indie music label Gamma, whose roster also includes Mariah Carey, Usher and Snoop Dogg, is teaming up with West for the release. the magazine I reported in January that the deal was in the mid-to-low seven figures.
