I really enjoyed the story, especially the first half. Jyotika Maam made some suggestions for the film which proved to be very valuable. I have narrated the script to many, but the feedback I received from Jyotika ma’am was very helpful. I will mention all the changes I suggested after the release of the film.”
The director is confident of the audience’s response
Venky Atluri also spoke about how he expects the audience to react after watching the film.The director expressed his confidence that viewers will leave the theaters feeling satisfied.
He added that the story would not make the audience feel that it was promoting anything morally wrong. Instead, he believes the emotional journey and message of the film will leave a positive impression on viewers.Venky Atluri also pointed out the reaction that followed the announcement of Mamitha Baiju as Suriya’s co-star.The director said he came across memes, reels and Reddit posts that discussed the casting. However, he explained that at that time, only he and Suriya fully understood why Mamitha was chosen for the role.According to Venky, opinions changed after the film’s teaser was released. He said the teaser helped audiences understand the pairing better, and in the end many people accepted the casting decision.
Suriya’s film has reportedly bagged a major Tamil Nadu deal
Even before its theatrical release, Vishwanath And Sons has reportedly done a major hit in terms of pre-release business.According to Filmibeat, the theatrical rights of the film were sold in Tamil Nadu on a minimum guarantee (MG) basis for Rs 45 crore. If accurate, it would be among the biggest distribution deals a Syria film has received in recent years.Vishwanath And Sons, directed by Venky Atluri, is scheduled to hit theaters globally on August 14.
