The latest iteration of risk! It will focus on sports – more specifically, the global leader in sports.
Sony Pictures Television, which produces risk!and ESPN team up for the right name ESPN Jeopardy!. Monday Night Football Broadcaster Joe Buck will host the show, which will stream on Disney+ and Hulu. A premiere date has not yet been announced.
ESPN Jeopardy! It will also feature the network’s sports talent as contestants, playing in a tournament competition for the charity of their choice, and answers and questions will cover the full range of ESPN content. The grand prize is $500,000. The contestants will be announced later.
ESPN brand risk! It is the latest extension of the long-running game show. Joins ABC Celebrity Jeopardy! (whose current All-Star season features ESPN NFL analyst Mina Kimes), hosted by Colin Jost Pop culture menace! (which is moving from Prime Video to Netflix for its second season) and the recently launched YouTube version.
Buck also has a connection to risk! World: He was one of a series of guest hosts on the show in 2021 following the death of Alex Trebek.
After a long tenure at Fox Sports, Buck and Troy Aikman joined ESPN in 2022 to take over the ESPN network. Monday Night Football Booth with sideline reporter Lisa Salters.
