Actress Manjari Phadnis, who is known for her performances in films like ‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na’, ‘Grand Masti’ and ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’, has spoken out after the alleged killing of a community dog named Mikey in her residential society.
The actress recently shared an emotional video in which she tells the story of the dog and expresses her sadness over the incident. According to Manjari, Mikey has been living in the community since 2019 after being abandoned by his birth family and has become a beloved part of the community over the years.She further claimed that some residents revealed that Mikey was resting in the basement when he was attacked with a stick or iron rod.
A few days after sharing her initial video, Manjari posted another heartfelt message, in which she and her fellow residents promised to continue seeking justice for Mikey.Reflecting on the emotional impact of the incident, she wrote that the tragedy deeply affected everyone who cared for the dog.“None of us living here have slept well since we found out what happened to you. There is an army of people living in this community who loved you and are working tirelessly to find concrete evidence against those who killed you, and to assist the police in your investigation in any way we can. As we can, we will not rest until these people are held accountable and punished as they deserve.”

Officials may have assumed Mickey’s disappearance would go unnoticed because he was a community dog, Manjari said. However, she stressed that he was cherished by many families within the community and was much more than just a stray animal.In her post, the actress expressed her love for Mickey and pledged to ensure the safety of other animals living in the area. “We love you, baby. Now rest easy while we all get to the bottom of this.”
