Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock are back with their magical wonders in “Practical Magic 2”! Filming for the film has officially wrapped, and is scheduled to be released later this year. During a recent interview, co-star Xolo Maridueña talked about how great it was to work on the film and his experience.

While filming “Practical Magic 2,” actor Xolo Maridueña couldn’t control his excitement to work with some of the biggest icons of the film industry. Recently, during his interview with PEOPLE magazine, while attending the world premiere of Killing Castro in New York City, the actor opened up about what it was like to be on the set of the magical film.He shared that he felt very welcome when he joined the returning cast for the sequel.
“Girl, I was like… I really loved the movie, and the chemistry that the whole cast had, I wanted to keep it and keep it forever. Everyone was so nice. It was my first time filming abroad, and we were in London,” he added.Furthermore, he said it was a great experience working alongside Kidman and Bullock, who have been in the industry for decades. He added: “Sandra, Nicole and the entire Practical Magic family welcomed me and I was so happy to be there.
I can’t wait for people to see it. It will be the night you want to go to with the family or ladies night. “Or you’re going out for a margarita, whatever.”He also concluded by adding that people need to remember that the film will release in September, and then described the two actresses as “class acts”.
Who is Zulu Mariduena?
Xolo Maridueña has been active in the entertainment industry since 2011. The 25-year-old made his debut with the series “Parenthood” when he was just 11 years old.
The actor has since become a rising force in the acting industry. He later found his big break when he starred in the film Cobra Kai in which he played the lead role of Miguel Diaz. He was 16 years old at the time.He is also known for leading DC’s “Blue Beetle”, the first Latino superhero in the film franchise. Later in 2023, he ventured into singing and released his debut single titled On My Way. His latest film, Killing Castro, debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 9.

About “Practical Magic 2”
The film takes place about two decades after the release of the first film, and shows the return of the Owens family to the big screen. Inspired by Alice Hoffman’s novel The Book of Witchcraft, the narrative shifts to a new generation of Owens witches, specifically Sally’s daughters. When they discover dark secrets and truths about their family and origins, things begin to change for them.The film also stars Stockard Channing, Dianne Wiest, Joey King, Maisie Williams, Lee Pace, and Sully McLeod.
When will “Practical Magic 2” be released?
The shooting of the film has already been completed and is said to be in the final stages of completion. According to the announcements, the film is scheduled to hit theaters on September 11, 2026 later this year. The film is an anticipated sequel to the first film, Practical Magic, which was released in October 1998.
