A Catholic priest from Tennessee has now gone viral after Steven Spielberg shared some comments about the alien film and the use of religion in the story. The priest commented on his account on a popular video streaming platform, saying that the director’s comments were “strange” and that he did not understand why he said that in the interview.Father Dan Ryhill added in the video: “You know, they could put a curse on the movie so that everyone who watches it will be provoked by demons. It could happen. We don’t know if it happened, but it could happen.” Furthermore, he raised questions in the video, adding, “Why make a movie whose signature outcome is that people’s faith will be shaken or lost? That sounds very much like something the Antichrist, or Satan, would do.”Not only that, the priest also commented on how to avoid watching the movie because it might be “dedicated to Satan, and demons could be linked to the movie.”
