Netflix’s partnership with author Harlan Coben continues to pay dividends.
I will find youthe latest adaptation of one of Cobain’s novels, had the biggest opening week for any new Netflix series so far this year. According to internal Netflix data, the thriller attracted 24 million views worldwide during the week of June 15-21; I will find you It premiered on June 18.
With a runtime of just under 5 and a half hours, the eight-episode series has generated 131.7 million hours of viewing time worldwide.
The previous high mark for a Netflix series premiere in 2026 was 19.9 million views His and hers In January. I will find you It also had the fifth-best week for any English-language Netflix series — new or returning — this year. Tracks two entries for Bridgerton Season 4 (39.7 million and 28 million views during the weeks in which both halves of the season premiered), Strange things (31.3 million for the series finale week) and the second week of His and hers (29.5 million).
I will find you It is the thirteenth series based on a Harlan Coben book available on Netflix, including local language productions in Poland, Spain, France and Argentina. Fool me once It was one of Netflix’s biggest shows of 2024, garnering 98 million views worldwide (total hours watched divided by runtime) in its first 13 weeks. In January, Run away It premiered to 12.7 million views and spent four weeks in the global top 10.
I will find you Stars Sam Worthington as a man wrongly imprisoned for killing his son. When he learned that the boy might still be alive, he broke out of prison to find his son and prove his innocence. Brett Lauer, Chi McBride, Logan Browning, Erin Richards, Jonathan Tucker and Milo Ventimiglia also star.
Robert Hall serves as showrunner and executive produces with Cobain, Brian Weinbrandt, Steven Lilien, John Weber, and Brad Anderson, who directed the first two episodes.
