On Wednesday, April 22, Taylor posted on Instagram and TikTok disappear From the Internet.
Understandably, fans wondered what was going on.
It’s common (and healthy) for people to take a break from social media, especially from these two particularly harmful apps. Giving up social media is healthy and wise.
Sometimes, people delete apps from their phones, ensuring that they don’t accidentally reopen out of habit. That’s smart!
But deleting entire accounts is a huge deal.

Fans on social media noticed her conspicuous absence and immediately began speculating.
Some suggested that the past five weeks or so had been absolute hell, and they may have deleted accounts due to their mental health — fearing that simply deleting or avoiding apps wouldn’t be enough.
Others wondered if this was legal advice. She’s not facing charges, but there have been questions about her future on reality TV. Sometimes, general silence is the safest route.

TMZ Reports indicate that Taylor took this step with her social media on her own.
According to their source, “Everything is fine.”
Instead, Taylor is said to be taking a break from two of the most toxic social media apps on the internet as she’s still in the chaotic news cycle.
Simply put, she needs time away from everything.
Taylor has previously spoken about wanting to take time to heal, especially given the trauma she experienced.

The report also indicates that Taylor will not return to the show immediately.
After she masters some aspects of her personal life, she will resume filming.
We’re sure some amount of her entire world being turned upside down will come out in the show. But it seems likely that at least some aspects of the recent unrest won’t make it to Hulu.
