Earlier this month, a social media post breached containment measures and went viral.
The creator of the post was Jenny Mullen, a comedian and, most importantly, a mother.
Whatever her intentions, her mother and son’s PDA has led some people to call for an investigation.
And when you see the post for yourself, you might understand why. …

“The most toxic man you will ever date.”
Late last week, Mullen took to Facebook to share a series of photos showing her and her 12-year-old son in bed.
She and actor Jason Biggs welcomed their first child, Sid, in February 2014.
In photos of the now-deleted post, Mullen shared photos of herself holding her son, with him apparently lying between his legs.
Different families have different ways of expressing love. Some hold hands while watching a movie. Some kisses on the mouth. There is a lot of variety.
But it turns out that lying between her teenage son’s legs wasn’t the most surprising part of the post.
Oh Jenny Mullen Biggs, being the weirdo that she is, BoyMom™ wasn’t on my bingo card but here we are.

Mullen’s post indicated that she was listening to “03 Bonnie & Clyde” by Beyoncé and Jay-Z.
Speaking of toxic husbands, the comedian’s comment is what really got people riled up.
“Your oldest son will be the most toxic man you will ever date,” Mullen wrote.
A PDA is one thing. The caption is another thing.
The two concurrently had people on almost every social media platform demanding an actual investigation, and seemingly accusing Mullen of some sort of wrongdoing.
Earlier today, Mullen responded to the hype in her Substack newsletter:
“Last week, the internet called me a pedophile for posting a photo of myself holding my son,” she wrote (via Page Six).
Jenny explained that the photo was taken after her son returned from the weekend, and explained what “strangers saw as scandal, and I saw as sadness.”
“There is something devastating about realizing that your child can survive without you, and that they could be content elsewhere,” she explained, adding:

A lot of people saw this as a random “boymom” post.
To be clear, many – perhaps most – who saw this image saw it taken out of context.
Several screenshot versions of the (now deleted) post didn’t even include the poster’s name.
And (with all due respect to Ms. Mullen) not everyone knows who she is.
Seeing a comedian post something like this might make you feel terrible about a joke that didn’t hit the intended mark.
Seeing that a random woman posted that might make you worry. Or at the very least, it looks unintentionally funny, like this.”A friend is the sister you choose“Greeting card.
TMZ I spoke to a source close to Mullen, someone who often spoke like a propaganda expert.
The source confirmed that “the picture is nothing more than a mother hugging her 12-year-old son.”
“Anyone who concludes anything else should be ashamed of themselves,” the source condemned.
As far as the comment goes, the same person dismissed it: “She’s a comedian.”
For the record, Mullen joked that her then-born son’s penis was “huge” in 2014. So it doesn’t seem like her recent breakup with Biggs is the reason.
