A quick summary of the second episode of Euphoria 3
Viral moments from episode two showed Cassie and Nate fighting over the wedding, specifically what flowers they wanted at the event. This leads to Cassie joining a popular and downright money-making website, while Nate is busy trying to fund his retirement community business, all the while worrying about how to repay the loans that haunt him.
Euphoria Season 3 Recap: Rue and Jules finally meet
The episode shows Rue starting working at a strip club to escape Lori, who owes her millions of dollars. There, for a while, Rue seems happy to have someone to spend time with while away from Lori and her dangerous drug-dealing ways. However, when things fall apart with Angel, a stripper she’s seeing, she travels away to finally meet Jules. This is the first major interaction between the two since their falling out in Season 2.
The story then explores more about Jules’ life and how she spent her time during the time period that jumps from Season 2 to Season 3. Acting on her friend’s demands to start working as a sex worker, Jules goes on a date with a 48-year-old man. She goes on a number of more appointments, before landing with a plastic surgeon who is obsessed with her body. The two talk about his strange habits and how his wife is very aware of his lifestyle choices.
He even ended up convincing her to drop out of art school, something she had been hoping for since she was in high school. On the other hand, Rue becomes an arms dealer for the strip club owner and works for his second-in-command, Bishop.
Cassie and Nate’s marriage
When Jules and Rue meet, it’s a bittersweet encounter. Jules is invited to Nate and Cassie’s wedding, although it was Rue who gave her the money for a dress rather than the plastic surgeon who seems obsessed with Jules.
Wedding processions begin. However, Nate disappears, which leaves Cassie panicking about the wedding falling apart. Jules and Cal (Nate’s father, played by the late Eric Dane) meet for the first time in years, with Jules asking, “Remember me.
“The most memorable moment in this episode comes from the wedding that happens afterwards, when Cassie and Nate perform one of the most bizarre first dances at any wedding.
While Nate shines and smiles brightly, keeping up his façade, Cassie is a jumble of chaos, smiling but crying when she tells her newlywed husband that she doesn’t want to be poor.Another surprising point comes when Roo is shown calling Fez, played by the late Angus Cloud (who passed away before filming on Season 3 began), explaining that he is in prison, and then repeating his side of the conversation stating that he plans to escape from prison using parkour.
Nate and Cassie’s fate deteriorates when they are attacked by loan sharks
After all the damage control at their wedding, Nate and Cassie are confronted about a $500,000 loan Nate owes. Cassie has her nose broken on her wedding day, while Nate is beaten and tortured. Although things are about to get much worse for them.
