Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph’s ‘Drishyam 3’ continued its impressive theatrical run on the sixth day, even though the film saw a routine weekday decline at the box office. According to Sakneelk, the Malayalam thriller has collected a net collection of Rs 6.45 crore in India on its first Tuesday, which is a 16.2 percent drop from the Rs 7.70 crore net it collected on Monday.The film was shown in 4,668 shows on the sixth day. While collections declined slightly, overall performance remained strong throughout the workday. The latest figures have pushed the film’s total net collection in India to Rs 68.60 crore.
‘Drishyam 3’ worldwide gross exceeds Rs 170 crore
‘Drishyam 3’ has now achieved a major milestone at the global box office. The film collected Rs 6 crore overseas on the sixth day, taking its total international collection to Rs 90.70 crore.Along with domestic earnings, the global collection reached Rs 170.32 crore in just six days.Kerala continued to lead the film’s box office performance on the sixth day. The state contributed a total of Rs 5.65 lakh crore.The overall state-level collection report showed Andhra Pradesh and Telangana contributing Rs 60 lakh while Tamil Nadu added Rs 50 lakh. Karnataka produced Rs 43 lakh and the rest of India contributed Rs 30 lakh.On the language front, the Malayalam version remained the clear leader with a net collection of Rs 5.50 crore from 2,641 shows.
The Telugu version collected Rs 60 lakh from 1,310 shows, while the Tamil version collected Rs 25 lakh from 530 shows. The Kannada version added Rs 10 lakh from 187 shows.
Evening and night shows show strong occupancy
The Malayalam version recorded an overall occupancy of 39.06 percent on the sixth day.The morning shows recorded an occupancy rate of 22.33%, and it rose to 32.75% in the afternoon. The audience turnout improved significantly during the evening and night shows, as the occupancy rate reached 46.83% and 54.33%, respectively.The Telugu version reported an overall occupancy of 14.75 percent, while the Tamil occupancy was 19.24 percent. The Kannada version recorded an occupancy rate of 14.53 percent.
OTT version
While ‘Drishyam 3’ continues its successful theatrical run, attention has also shifted to its digital release.
