The spy thriller follows an undercover agent taking on terrorist networks, with sequel The Revenge continuing the high-stakes mission ahead.

Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ (Part 1) is gearing up for a Japanese release on July 10 after creating buzz at the global box office. The makers revealed the film’s poster on Instagram, which displays the title in Japanese.

They shared the update in a collaborative post, and captioned: “It’s time for Japan to experience the energy of Dhurandhar! Arriving in theaters across Japan on 10.7.2026.”

According to Sakneelek, the first part of the spy-entertainment thriller generated a whopping revenue of Rs. 1,307.35 crore globally after its release on December 5, 2025. According to the makers’ statement, “The film registered a notable performance internationally, debuting at number one globally.”

The number one Indian film of all time in North America, while also becoming the highest-grossing Indian film of all time in Canada and Australia, and ranks among the best-performing Indian films in the United Kingdom.

Featuring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Gaurav Gera, and Dhanesh Pandor, Dhurandar is slated to be a two-part film. The first part revolves around a high-stakes secret counter-terrorism mission, following an undercover Indian intelligence officer who infiltrates Karachi’s criminal underworld and Pakistan’s political system to dismantle a terrorist network targeting India.
