‘Devil Wears Prada 2’ director considers Adrian Grenier to be the lead – here’s why it didn’t happen

While the original stars of The devil wears PradaAnne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Stanley Tucci, and Emily Blunt are all back for the upcoming sequel, and the sequel’s director, David Frankel (who also directed the 2006 original), explains why Adrian Grenier, who played Andy Hathaway’s boyfriend, Nate, won’t appear in the film.
