The feisty Jackson Lamb returns for a first look at Season 6 of the series Slow horses.
Apple TV has revealed the first images from the next installment, which will premiere weekly on Thursdays starting September 16. The images show Oscar-winning star Gary Oldman as Lamb, the head of MI5’s waste department at Slough House, with Jack Lowden returning as River Cartwright.
Also featured in the photos released this week are Kristin Scott Thomas, Tom Brooke, Amy Fionn Edwards, Lenny Rush and Christopher Chung. The cast also includes Rosalind Eleazar, Joanna Scanlan, Samuel West, Jonathan Pryce and Hugo Weaving.
The only story synopsis given for the upcoming season so far is simply this: “The Slow Horses are on the run while Diana Taverner (played by Scott Thomas) entangles them all in a high-stakes game of revenge and vengeance.”

The series, produced by See-Saw Films for Apple TV and adapted from Mick Herron’s novel of the same name, has won an impressive six BAFTA TV Awards since its debut in 2022, as well as two Emmys. It is one of the most successful streaming shows to date.
Jamie Lorenson, Hakan Kusseta, Julian Stevens, Ian Canning, Emil Sherman, Adam Randall, Gil Motrox, Douglas Urbanski, and Oldman serve as executive producers on the film. Slow horses. The sixth season was adapted for television by co-executive producer Gabe Chiappe, with Adam Randall returning to direct.
